Las Brisas Mexican Cuisine in San Marcos

This place is amazing, my new go to for Mexican cuisine in San Marcos. Everything here is delicious, don't forget to try the flan, best Molcajete I've ever had.

I ordered a shrimp burrito for 12$ . It was made fresh and took about 10 minutes. The burrito was massive. I cut it in half and shared it with my friend. Very nice size burrito and the ingredients didn’t come out greasy. Nice place with friendly staff

Ordered take-out & service was pleasant. She made sure I had everything I could want. Took a bit longer to get food than anticipated but I'll chalk it up to being 5 PM. Food is always delicious, hot, and generously portioned. Can't go wrong!

Best shrimp burrito I've ever had. Seriously. The food is very tasty and the price is very reasonable. The service is a bit slow but it's so worth it.

Sauces sauces sauces. Great food, tender meats, delicious rice, amazing salsas. And some of the nicest people making wonderful food for you.

Informal dining. Food is good and staff helpful in education of what item is on menu. Booths are too snug for us in our group so we are thankful there are tables. It's in a little strip mall so parking can be tough during popular times.

We actually love the food and friendly staff here but have become increasingly frustrated with their unpredictable hours. For the third, and probably final, time we attempted to eat there on a Friday evening at 7:15 ish and were told they were only accepting take out orders. Multiple tables were filled but they wouldn't seat anyone after 7. This seems very early to stop table service on a Friday night and unfortunately, we probably won't try again. Seems bad for business.

How can you not come back when you get food this good. Red sauce awesome. We have tried a variety of food and everything came out awesome.

This place has authentic mexican food with authentic Mexican flavors. If you have not tried Las Brisas you don't live in San Marcos. This place is great for casual dining. They are also available on door dash and they do not skimp on their quality! Their California burrito is perfectly made. I like is with carne adobada. Overall you will love their food, and you can order to go or done in. Of you done in, they provide service! I highly recommend this location for great mexican food.

We tried the cacti taco, the enchiladas and the carnitas.Everything was very tasty and the portion were pretty big.

I love finding the best price to weight ratio Mexican resturants with good taste to follow. This place is a dream come true. My breakfast burrito was huge. About as long as a size 12 shoe and super fat. The bacon was perfect, being the thick chunky style. Its the best! There is no guessing here. This location is 100% worth it!

The food was amazing and the service was equally so. We found Las Brisas on google boasting 4.7 stars...and it did not disappoint. You have got to try the horchata, and the Jamaica is good as well. The burritos are huge so come hungry. I ordered the chicken taco which came with guacamole on it and it was very good and filling. Thanks Las Brisas for a great dining experience!

Very nondescript strip mall Mexican. Great value as the portions were large. Matter of fact I haven't seen a bigger burrito. Flavor wise it tasted as if someone's well meaning aunt had made the meal - fine but not great. Server was super friendly and service was quick. Food was 3.5 but the experience was a 4.

The BEST Pork Chile Colorado in town!

The food was huge and delicious. The service and atmosphere...not so much. It took 20 minutes to put in our order, all while trying to enjoy a bite to eat while a handful of kids were allowed to run wild in the store. The surrounding neighborhood is a little rough, I would definitely recommend locking your car and keeping an eye on your valuables. My recommendation is that you order to go, don't waste your time trying to enjoy a meal here.

One of my favorite Mexican food locations. Food is great and the portions to me seem for 2 people but it's good for the price we pay. Thanks to the friendly staff and food wait time is fast.

This restaurant has been consistent, their menu selections are wide, and the items we've ordered are always, tasty! Not to mention, the portion size is, plenty large! Overall, recommend, can't go wrong at Las Brisas!

I'm embarrassed to admit that with so many great Mexican places around San Diego, we've driven past this place a hundred times without even noticing it.Wow!!!Absolutely, the best Mexican we've had!!The Carne Asada burrito I ordered was amazing, my wife's Mojarra Frita was great, and the Caldo de Camaron was absolutely perfect.We'll be back.

We really enjoyed our dinner. My wife ordered a Carne asada burrito and I ordered Carne asada fajitas. The burrito was huge, so we shared it and brought the fajitas home. All of the staff was very friendly. The salsa was really good. We were going to purchase some salsa, but it was a bit expensive ($10 for 32 ounces).

This location is a sit down and order place! Love it, staff is friendly, food is mmm good!

If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican food that's affordable and awesomely delish, this is THE place! Tucked away in a small strip-type mall, Las Brisas is where San Marcos locals go for their Mexican food fix. The Owners are from Baja California; photos of the beautiful beach area that they came from adorn the walls. The food is wonderful! and gracious service will make you feel right at home. Highly recommend.

so so so so good! great food across the board. bonus......affordable. I would say affordable but let's face it, it's cheap. huge plates of food that will be a couple meals for you . or share a plate and some apps with someone. the atmosphere is slow paced and quaint (14 tables?). great chips and salsa.

This is some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. The food here is on par with some of the fanciest Mexican food restaurants I’ve eaten at. The serving portions are great and the staff is friendly on top of the excellent food. I highly recommend stopping to see what makes this place amazing.

Great beans!!! And the bean and cheese burrito was huge!!! All the burritos I saw were very big!!I got the chicken soup. It has veggies and chicken on the bone. The broth is thin and gentle on your tummy. When it's served you get Mexican rice, limes, and a spicy pepper mix to put in the soup. Definitely makes a GREAT bowl of soup!!! This place has so many soups and that's one of my favorites! I will for sure be back to try the albondigas and the 7 Seas!! The service is great too. The ladies are so kind and very respectful and helpful to recommend what they like. The restaurant is very clean too. This is very important for me. I will for sure be back!

A local favorite that serves delicious home made Mexican food. Everything is good: carne asada, carnitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos, rice & beans....it's all yummy! More than enough food to fill up. Small inside, cramped parking outside but oh so worth it.

So disappointed with this restaurant, we got here at 6pm and they didn’t allowed us to enter being that they still had the open signs lit and the doors open, they dont have a visible schedule and here on google states that they close at 7pm. I will definitely think twice before coming back.

Fresh, flavorful authentic coastal seafood mexican cuisine. This place is a secret in San Marcos that always delivers great food at a reasonable price. Both take-out or dine in the flavor of Old Mexico comes through every dish. Try the Shrimp Burrito it is my favorite.

Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Just google where can I buy some menudo, so I called and found that they have menudo everday. Satisfied my craving for menudo , so delicious.
